On 2 August 2017, Tianzheng treated 8684.22 tons of household waste, an increase of 35.79 per cent over the same period last year, which is 3.25 times the design capacity of 2671 tons/day, and over 4,500 tons/day landfill alert red line.
Of these, 599.40 tons were in Upper City, an increase of 15.98 per cent over the same period last year; 804.28 tons in Downtown, an increase of 1.81 per cent over the same period last year; 1678.32 tons in Jianggan, an increase of 17.55 per cent over the same period last year; - 770.68 tons of villas, a decrease of 2.22 per cent over the same period last year; Lake West 1390.42 tons, an increase of 15.35 per cent over the same period last year.
