The HJ353-2019 Technical Instructions for the Installation of the Online Monitoring System for Water Pollution Sources (CODCr, NH3-N, etc.), implemented on 24 March 2020, sets out the components of the online monitoring system for water pollution sources, the construction requirements for water pollution source vents, flow monitoring units, monitoring stations, automatic water quality sampling units and data control units, the requirements for the installation of flow meters, water quality automatic samplers and water quality automatic analyzers, and Online Monitoring System for Water Pollution Sources (b) The technical requirements for debugging and commissioning.
The new standards clearly define the components of the online monitoring system for water pollution sources, add construction requirements for automatic sampling units for water quality and modify installation requirements for automatic sampling of water quality.
The units in the online monitoring system for water pollution sources are used to achieve real-time and mixed water samples, excess samples, parallel monitoring samples, comparison of monitoring samples, and testing of the online monitoring instrument for water pollution sources.

The on-line monitoring system for water pollution sources consists of four main components: flow monitoring units, automatic water quality sampling units, online monitoring instruments for water pollution sources, data control units and corresponding construction facilities, and, in the above-mentioned map of the online monitoring system for water pollution sources, clearly indicates the direction of currents, requiring CODCr, TOC, NH3-N, TP, TN automatic water quality analyzers to measure mixed water samples.
