Overall layout of the SEC sampling system

  I. Unique dewatering: the SEC-type flue gas sampling system

The sample processing component uses a dry permeation method, which transports clean, dry samples to the analyzer at ambient temperatures of the flue pipe, and is less than 20°C (1,000 ppm H2O) by permeating dry samples. Gases such as SO2 and NOx, Hcl, which are highly corrosive when dissolved in water, produce a variety of acids (e.g., sulphuric acid and nitrate). They will be highly corrosive and long-term damage to stainless steel sampling probes and analyzers, significantly reducing the useful life of analytical instruments. However, the more dry the air, the less corrosive it is, which is one of the characteristics of our SEC sampling system.

Moreover, the condensation method will have water condensation, which will lead to the absorption of some SO2 and NOx aerosol gases, especially at low concentrations, which will increase measurement errors, and our SEC pre-processing sampling system is well placed to avoid these problems.
